Further Description
Toronto, ON – Looking for a calm and effective time-out from today’s fast pace? Find respite with composer/pianist Robert Bruce’s spa-like musical experience taking place at the Heliconian Hall in downtown Toronto on August 25th.
“Participants can just close their eyes and drift away or relax and take in the experience any way they like,” says Robert Bruce who based this live music offering on his CD compilation, Bound by the Tenderness of Eden. Tranquil and reflective, the performance aims to establish, “Vivid sonic environments that allow listeners to rise above much of the mental and emotional static gathered in day to day living.”
Something of a combined spa experience, an inspirational lift and a musical performance without any hype, the focus of this program is on the music’s unusual ability to evoke vivid colours, textures, images and scenarios in the listener’s imagination and to stir and bring forth deeper feelings and memories.
